drawing people on chatroulette

Chatroulette is the new craze the media has tried to spin as the new horror of the internet, where the depraved and naked roam, but if one actually gos and spends a wee bit of time, one would find that there is actually a lot of interesting things pepole have decided to do to entertain the random roulettee people cooking, waring crazy masks and of course masturbating. so, its a bit like walking down a street in a country where the rules and customs are completely foreign, but the same stuff still crops up. it was here, that i decided to set up shop and do what i usually do when i have down time, draw random people! but now i dont need to go un noticed nor look creepy asking "will you model for me" ala Austin Powers.

i simply got a hold of some freeware that turned my desktop into a web cam that chatroulette recognized, then i turned on photo shop and wrote simply, "pose and i will draw you". and it was f9 till i happened upon someone i would want to draw. Now, this poses an interesting situation though! because people are in there own homes, so the ball is in their court as to what they want to do how long they my want to pose and the type of pose they do.

most people nexted me but some where receptive and liked being drawn! tonight i met beautiful lass named Lillith whose pic you can see above. she liked the little drawing i made of her and i had fun drawing her. I think this will become a habit, as I just don't know who will let me draw them and like my work!

when i get more sketches done i will post them here under chatroulette

Analysis of Her Morning Elegance

After viewing this video on a huge screen during SFSU's Animation Tusday event, I have been obsessed with it. Her Morning Elegance was produced by Acme Film works and uses pixelation to beautiful effect.

I love the smoothness of this work so much that I decided to research it and in doing so found this site where they are selling every frame from the video! You can preview every frame and analyze the motion! Since they used an international model they can charge $250 per photo. While purchasing any of these frames is far beyond my financial reach the fact that you can view every frame to see how it was done is a great asset to animation folks. So go check it out!
